The "Sea Energy" is the 5th vessel of China Merchants Shipping's 175,000 m³ LNG carrier project and the first vessel of Phase II of the project. The vessel adopts the Mark III Flex membrane-type cargo containment system and deep-cooling re-liquefaction units, and is equipped with WinGD 5X72DF-2.1 dual-fuel main engines. Through optimized displacement and hull line design, the vessel enhances propulsion efficiency with high-efficiency propellers and twisted rudders, achieving world-class speed performance. In addition, it incorporates energy-saving measures and is fitted with green environmental systems such as exhaust gas economizers, meeting the latest environmental emission standards. The vessel fully aligns with the global trend toward green and low-carbon shipping, with well-balanced economy, flexibility, and terminal compatibility. The three vessels delivered in Phase I—"Sea Melody," "Sea Horizon," and "Sea Pioneer"—have successfully completed multiple voyage missions with stable and reliable operational performance.
